Yay! I can go to the Chris Daughtry concert in Charlottesville, Virginia on Friday !

My parents got the tickets a while ago but for some reason or another forgot to ask me if I wanted to come . But for some reason (not that I'm complaining) my sister's friend couldn't come and when my parents asked, I of course, said yes.

I've listened to Chris Daughtry's CD that came out right after he won American Idol and so far I've only heard one of his newest songs (No Surprise). I'll look up more of his new songs on youtube later on after I finish my homework.

Earlier this month, I also went to New York City! This was my first time, because the rest of my family has been there except me and now I went . I saw majority of the main tourist sites, like the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty (from a distance), and the World Trade Center Memorial (which is under construction). Also in NYC we saw the musical, In the Heights which was a really good show and I ended up buying their CD on Amazon soon after, . The main reason on why my family went to NYC, was because that my mom ran the NYC marathon (she did well). I've been to NY before but it's mainly been in the western portion of the state since that's where the rest of my mom's family lives (about an hour away from Lake Erie).

I'll start on the Ariel and Jim drawing for 's Landlocked contest later on this weekend when I have more free time (I'll be busy this week, need to work on a take home test, ).
